Hallmarking
By law silver items weighing more than 7.78g should be Hallmarked. Items below this weight are not required to be Hallmarked.
Please see attached document below from Edinburgh Assay which shows the required marks.
Not all my jewellery is hallmarked, those items weighing less than 7.78g will not be hallmarked.
Hallmarking of larger items and rings will be done as a collection, to keep the costs to a minimum.
If requiring a bespoke item of jewellery hallmarked, the minimum standard price will be charged. See Assay office for latest price list.
I use only use sterling silver when making my jewellery including catches, earrwires and other findings.
